Borrichia frutescens (Sea Oxeye) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Bahamas, North Carolina, Virginia, The Contiguous United States, Florida, Mexico, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Gulf Of Mexico, Maryland, Eastern North America, Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, Cuba, and Bermuda. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Carpenter-mimic Leaf-cutter Bee, Monarch, Broken-backed Bug, and Scolia nobilitata. Individuals can grow to 2.6 feet.
