Balsamorhiza careyana (Carey's Balsamroot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Anise Swallowtail and Indra Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
