Lithospermum canescens (Hoary Puccoon) is a species of perennial herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Mottled Duskywing, Chalcosyrphus nemorum, and Calliopsis coloradensis. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
