Caretta caretta (Loggerhead Turtle) is a species of turtles in the family sea turtles. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC and in cites appendix i. They are native to Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and Indian Ocean. They are solitary omnivores. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming and lift powered swimming to move around.
