In Krüger et al (2022: 361) the following prior usages/records of the species are indicated as being misidentified as A acutifrons: Hessle 1917; Annenkova 1929; Hartmann-Schröder 1971, 1996; Day 1973; Bick and Gosselck 1985; Holthe 1986; Jirkov 2001; Parapar et al. 2012. These usages are not re-identified, pagination is not given, and geographic locations of the misidentifications are not given.
