Montipora echinata Veron, De Vantier & Turak 2000

Montipora echinata is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora echinata form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
