Monomyces rubrum is a species of cnidarians in the family Flabellidae. This species is extinct. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Monomyces rubrum form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They have parental care (brooding). They are sessile animals.
