Symphyotrichum prenanthoides (Crookedstem Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as of special concern by COSEWIC. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves, blue flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Spilomyia fusca. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
