Spermacoce laevis is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Pampa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Pantanal, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, and Santa Catarina. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Cassius Blue. Individuals can grow to 4.2 m.
