Zostera marina (Eelgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family Zosteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Canada, North America, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Eelgrass form sea grass beds.
