They are a bit sour but more on the sweet side. They have a big seed inside, not much of the berry to eat yet, its one of our favorite "snacks" when we were in school. There used to be a man right outside our school gates, selling these from huge bags slung on his bicycle. After school we would buy these and chomp on them while travelling home on our bus. The wrinkled brown ones are called Khajoor Bora. This was the first time I saw them and tasted them. They taste a bit like dates and bit like the Bora. Very interesting taste.
